Not too much to report in Tressell this month. The Ore Business Park clearance work has been continuing – we’re keeping an eye on that, but at least the site seems to be safe now. There have also been big problems with refuse collection failures and resultant rubbish on Halton Estate, with bins not emptied for almost a month after Christmas. That’s been put right now, but poor standards of cleaning and general untidiness continue to be a problem on both Farley Bank and Halton Estate. We’ll keep putting pressure on Amicus Horizon housing association about that wherever we can.
And we’ve been out knocking on doors, most recently in Victoria Avenue, where we’ve been delivering our latest ‘Victoria Avenue News’, which discusses problems with flooding, and a dog fouling success, with wardens catching a persistent offender. If you want to read Victoria Avenue news and all the other local newsletters we’ve delivered over the last two years, you can find them here.
