On Thursday 3rd May you’ll have the chance to elect a new borough councillor. These are Dawn’s 5 promises to the residents, traders and associations in Clive Vale and Hastings Old Town:
Dawn Poole – on your side in Old Hastings ward
- More ways to recycle
Dawn will do all she can to raise recycling rates in the ward. A high profile recycling awareness campaign, combined with an increased list of items collected should work towards this.
- Less dog mess
Dawn will support measures to reduce dog mess including compelling owners to carry dog bags.
- Reduce noise nuisance
Dawn will work with residents and licensed premises to ensure that surrounding areas do not suffer from noise and nuisance generated by the premises.
- Reduce illegal parking
Dawn will push for high profile enforcement of parking in and around the Old Town and work with residents to seek ways to improve the current situation.
- Protect our green spaces
Dawn will fight to ensure that all green spaces in Old Hastings remain green and she will oppose unsuitable planning developments.
