The Labour Party in Hastings and Rye is totally opposed to the closure of the central branch of the Post Office in Hastings town centre.
Labour’s candidate for MP, Sarah Owen, has launched a petition to oppose plans to close the central Post Office and break up the services offered into local shops or banks.

Under Threat
The Ridge Fire Station is at risk of being downgraded. The proposed cuts will lead to fire engines being further away and locals being put at a higher risk. We’re sure that local residents, shopkeepers, community leaders and the firefighter’s union (the FBU) will unite to fight this plan.
